Baked Asparagus with Garlic and Lemon Recipe


  • 1 bunch of Asparagus spears

  • 2 – 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 – 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice


  1. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place asparagus into baking pan, and add olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice.
  3. Mix the spears and ingredients together until spears are nicely coated.
  4. Bake in oven until spears are tender, (usually 10 to 15 minutes depending on size of spears).
  5. Sprinkle with remaining lemon juice once done.

Baked Sweet Potato Cubes with Cinnamon & Vanilla

They also have potassium, dietary fiber, niacin, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and phosphorus. However, when most individuals hear the word potato, they instantly think of the dreaded word “CARBS” but sweet potatoes only have 23g of carbs whereas white potatoes have 26g of carbs. So if you are looking for a healthy carb, Sweet Potatoes are one of the best!


2 – 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil
1 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Mix olive oil (or coconut oil), cinnamon and vanilla extract with sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl.
Spray baking sheet with cooking spray
Lay sweet potatoes out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes
